It's official: Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are set to open this Friday, November 13, for the 2015-16 season. Good early season natural snow and excellent snow making conditions over the last week combined to make the early opening possible.
Bear Mountain will be open top-to-bottom, with chairs 9 and 7 spinning. The park crew has been hard at work and will have a top-to-bottom terrain park ready to shred on Friday. At Snow Summit the Miracle Mile and Chair 4 beginner area will be ready to go. And of course, it'll be a party at the base areas as we kick off what should be a great 2015-16 winter season.
Opening day tickets are only $35 and Bear/ Summit season passes are still available.
Ticket windows and rentals will open at 8:30 a.m. Lifts spin from 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. Following opening weekend, Bear Mountain will be weekend only until Dec. 11. Snow Summit will be open 7 days a week.
